💪🏽 My Favourite Lifestyle Changes of the Month
New Twitter Strategy
On thinking about how I want to use Twitter intentionally, my new approach to using Twitter embraces being current and impermanent.
- Everything there is a representation of my current thoughts and latest projects.
- I keep my tweet count low by deleting anything that doesn't feel like a topic on the forefront of my current mind.
- All of my tweets must have a call to action: either pose a question or request an action, so as to avoid yelling into the void without intention or purpose.
Information Funnel
In order to be more purposeful with the information that I consume I've organized my everyday notes on the things I consume into an Information Funnel segmented into a Consumption Log, Contemplation Log, Curation Log, and Creation Log.
- Consumption Log: Anytime I want to save a piece of information it goes into my consumption log, a single unorganized list of notes.
- Contemplation Log: My contemplation log is an organized collection of notes I've reflected upon, sorted by categories. When I feel that an item in my consumption log is a puzzle piece that fits into the larger picture of one of my deep dives, then I add it to its rightful place in my contemplation log.
- Curation Log: My curation log is my Affinity Digest where I post information that I feel ready to share.
- Creation Log: My creation log is where information I've connected with has morphed into an idea I think could be worth building something out of.
