📚 My Favourite Reads of the Month
The Great Online Game
“You’re probably already playing the Great Online Game to some degree. You read this because you want to know how the online economy works, and how you can play it better. But you can’t play to win unless you know you’re playing.”
The Tyranny of Ideas
“Once ideas find an audience, they’re hard to eradicate. Many a surprised creator has found that they’ve lost control over an idea, watching helplessly as it’s shaped and reinterpreted in ways they didn’t intend.”
The Describing Self
Kahneman's experiments show that the memory of an experiences is influenced primarily by the intensity of feelings (good or bad) at the peak and at the ending of the experiences, not by factors such as the duration or richness of the experience. Kahneman believes that most people will favour experiences involving prolonged but mild suffering over experiences involving brief but intense pain.

New wish
From when I was a child up to today, I use every birthday wish to ask for my dream superpowers. It recently occurred to me that perhaps it would be more practical and realistic to wish for a world with the tech to upload my consciousness into a vividly realistic virtual and customisable reality.

🤔 My Favourite Realizations of the Month
NFTs and domain context
While attempting to better understand NFT’s, I found that using the context of recent NFT art market trends was making me more confused. It was when I tried understanding NFTs through the ebook and the ticketing industries when I began to finally understand its advantages.
Temporal vs contextual storylines
I realised that I’m better at recalling my memories by using contextual cues, as opposed to temporal ones. For example, it’s easier for me to remember my life when I was in grade 4, rather than my life in 2002, even though they occurred at the same time. I wonder if by figuring out a way to frame chapters of my life in terms of storylines, I’ll have a more vivid and easily accessible pensieve.
🧨 My Favourite Sparks of Motivation & Inspiration
Comfort & Wonder
Comfort and wonder are two of my favourite sensations. I recently became inspired by the idea of being known by people close to me for knowing where best to seek them out. I’m thinking of using this as motivation to make more of an active effort to uncover these types of environments around me.
