A rose by any other name may still smell as sweet. But tell me that a rose-scented candle is actually lavender and I might believe you.

Names have power.

Toy Story had a deep impact on me. It gave life to a lot of the world around me. Based off of the company label etched into its flooring, I named my childhood elevator Turnbull and thanked it every time escorted me across floors.

Try naming your home based off of its personality. Breathe some life into it. Befriend it. For the next week, say “hey ___” every time you walk through your front door or “good morning ____” when you wake up.

Name idea: some combination of your own name and the name of your street.
